NEWS
Arizona Cardinals disgruntled wide receiver Anquan Boldin has fired superagent Drew Rosenhaus.
Boldin was frustrated over the lack of progress regarding his demand for a new contract or a trade with the team.
Rosenhaus was hopeful that the two sides could work things out and continue on but Boldin wasn’t having it.
The situation is made more interesting by the fact that Boldin’s brother, D.J., just recently signed Rosenhaus as his agent.

Arizona Cardinals veteran quarterback Kurt Warner has been medically cleared by doctors to participate in contact drills at the team’s offseason minicamps.
Warner underwent a hip operation in the offseason, hoping to improve his lateral movement in the pocket and his scrambling ability.
Anytime a player has hip surgery, it is certainly a cause for concern. That concern is only heightened when it involves a player as old as Warner, so the Cardinals have to be thrilled that everything seems great with their quarterback.
Then again, we will have to wait and see just exactly how that hip holds up when Warner gets back out on the field and takes a few hard hits.
It would also help if wide receiver Anquan Boldin decides to show up to some of the offseason camps, but that remains a remote possibility.

The saga surrounding Arizona Cardinals veteran star wide receiver Anquan Boldin continues, although there is now a new twist starting to play out.
Many thought Boldin wanted as much money as the team gave star wideout Larry Fitzgerald, who has a monster contract and has established himself among the best receives in the league.
However, Boldin’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said that is not the case and believes the team is just trying to paint Boldin in a bad light to escape more media scrutiny.
Rosenhaus said Boldin will accept an offer less than that of Fitzgerald’s. He said all the wide receiver is asking is that the team deal with him fairly and reward him appropriately for his play on the field.
The team has made it clear that re-signing Adrian Wilson and Karlos Dansby are bigger priorities, leaving Boldin to sit and wait.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin is still going to get traded, well, at least if you listen to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Rosenhaus posted on Twitter that he still believes the team will trade Boldin before the start of training camp and that he is doing everything in his power to make sure that it happens.
Boldin remains very unhappy with the team’s front office personnel and has been a no-show thus far at minicamp, although it’s important to note that attendance is not mandatory.
The Cardinals had been saying they wouldn’t trade Boldin but then appeared to be ready to deal him right before the NFL Draft, only they couldn’t find a deal they liked.
Now they seem intent on holding onto him, something that does not please the wide receiver. Stay tuned as this saga takes more twists and turns.

The Arizona Cardinals solved some of their issues at running back by selecting Chris “Beanie” Wells in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Wells was expected to be selected somewhere in the middle of the first round but lasted until almost the final selection of the round.
He is likely to see a lot of carries during his rookie season because the Cardinals are losing running backs left and right.
The team already let J.J. Arrington sign with the Denver Broncos earlier in the offseason and just made an even bigger move.
The Cardinals finally cut veteran running back Edgerrin James, a move that was only a matter of time.
